What to expect during Cameron’s Triple A

Instrumentation to open:
– Cameron’s CV set
– Cameron’s Stent Tray
– Minor CV tray
– Metal light handle
– Extra Castro needle holder

Setup packs to open:

Medications:
– Injectable Saline with Heparin
– Contrast
***mix contrast 50/50 other than contrast for reliant balloons- use less contrast***

Draping:
– Square off w groin towel
– Ioban
– Top, bottom, side, side
– C-Arm Drape
– Green Light handles

Suture-
– 5-0 Prolene C-1
– 6-0 Prolene BV
– 2-0 Silk Ties

Misc.-
– Suture boots
– White and Yellow Vessel Loops
– Umbilical Tapes
– Small and Medium Clips
– Two 30ml syringes
– Three 20ml syringes
– Five 10 cc syringes
– Insufflation device
– 18g Pink Entry Needle
– 11 Sheaths
– J-Wires
– Glide Cath
– Glide Wire
– Omniflush
– Pigtail
– Burnstein
– Orange Straight Catheter cut into two 3” pieces and place on stylet.
– Torque Device

Preferences:
– Workhorse Debakeys
– Mayo past the foot of table to maximize space
– If “Grand Slam” wire is used, don’t pull the tip of the wire, push through and grab past the tip and pull.

Procedure:
– Dissect down with 10 blade, cautery, workhorse debakey’s, metz, and weitlanner.

– Keep 5-0 Prolene on hand and ready to go.

– Have right angle, umbilical tapes, white vessel loops, 2-0 silk ties, and stylet ready.

– Repeat on opposite side.

– Entry needle, J-Wire, Sheath, Glide Cath, Glide Wire, Torque Device, and Meyer Wires
