Dural Repair

The surgeon will make an incision with the short #3 knife handle and dissect down until he finds the dural tear. They will use the bipolar forceps along with ferris smith and bayonet forceps. Cerebellum and gelpi retractors will be used to retract. They will also occasionally use metz scissors . . .
