What it’s for
Brought into the room at the end of the case so a cast or splint can be applied, for example after foot surgery such as hallux rigidus repair or after a fracture reduction. It holds plaster and fiberglass rolls and splints, cast padding (Webril), stockinette, and a bucket for lukewarm water.
Lengths and variants
Drawer counts and layouts vary; one model has 8 drawers with adjustable dividers, a side cabinet and a ruler etched on the top.
