A long, slim thumb forceps with a round, knurled grip and very fine tips about 1 to 1.3 mm wide. The tips carry tapered DeBakey-type atraumatic serrations.
Primary uses

Holds vessels and fine tissue without crushing them. Common in cardiac and vascular work, such as taking down the mammary artery and holding the coronary artery and graft during the anastomosis.
