Hank Uterine Dilator
Also called Uterine Dilators, Cervical Dilators, Hank Dilators
Solid, double-ended steel dilators with gently curved, tapered tips and a raised round stop (cuff) near each end that limits how far it enters the uterus. One end is one size larger than the other, marked in French sizes. Usually a set of six.

Gradually opens (dilates) the cervix for procedures inside the uterus, such as D&C, suction curettage, D&E and hysteroscopy.

About 10 to 10-3/4 in (25 to 27.5 cm) long. Sets of six usually run 9/10 Fr to 19/20 Fr (Aesculap, 10-3/4 in). Pilling sells single sizes from 9/10 Fr up to 29/30 Fr and a set of six from 11/12 Fr to 21/22 Fr.
