A long-handled ear pick with a sharp tip bent at 90 degrees; tips about 1-3 mm. Jarit's has a malleable heavy shaft, 6 5/8 in.

Handling tissue in the middle ear. In tympanoplasty a pick is used to explore the middle ear and to help place the graft. The ear tray carries picks angled 45 and 90 degrees, an Austin pick and two House picks (1 and 3 mm).
