A long, straight metal cannula with a soft rubber acorn tip, a trigger-and-ring control at the back, and a bracket that clamps onto the ring handles of a uterine tenaculum.
Primary uses

Placed through the cervix and held with a tenaculum to move the uterus during laparoscopic gynecologic surgery. Dye or contrast can be pushed through it to check that the fallopian tubes are open.
