A tiny spring clamp with short jaws, often supplied sterile in a small protective box. Each clamp is marked for an artery (A) or a vein (V).
Primary uses

Temporarily blocks blood flow in small vessels during microvascular surgery, such as free flaps, while the vessels are sewn.

Single and double clamps in different shapes and closing pressures matched to the vessel size, for arteries or veins. A double (approximator) clamp is two clamps joined by a bar that brings the vessel ends together for suturing.
