Triathlon Femoral Trial
Also called PS Femoral Trial, CR Femoral Trial
Trial femoral components made in posterior stabilized (PS) and cruciate retaining (CR) styles, left and right, sizes 1 to 8. They have impaction slots that the Femoral Impactor Extractor grips and an anterior hole that takes a 1/8" drill.
Primary uses
What this instrument is on the table to do.
Impacted onto the prepared distal femur to check fit; used with the tibial insert trial for trial reduction and to check stability and range of motion. A same-size CR trial can be used to mark where the PS Box Cutting Guide should sit. Hand it loaded on the Femoral Impactor Extractor and Impaction Handle after the femoral cuts (and PS box) are done.
