Rigid fiber-optic telescope, 5 or 10 mm across, with the objective lens at the tip angled 30 degrees off the shaft. It connects to a light source and a camera.

Gives the view inside the chest during video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS). The case often starts with the 0-degree scope through the first port; once the third port is in, the surgeon may swap to the 30-degree scope.
Sizes & variants
The lengths, angles and patterns it comes in.
5 mm or 10 mm diameter. Lenses also come in 0, 70 and 90 degrees. Standard laparoscopes can be passed through the chest trocars for VATS.
