Carpal Resection Guide
A saw guide with K-wire holes that mounts on the carpal guide bar.
Primary uses
What this instrument is on the table to do.
Set with the hamate feeler so the saw cuts the proximal 1.5 mm of the hamate, the capitate head, the scaphoid waist and the mid-triquetrum. It is pinned to the capitate with two 1.4 mm K-wires (more into the scaphoid and triquetrum as needed), slid down against the carpus, and the cut is made with an oscillating saw.
