A small spring clamp that closes on its own. It is made as a cross-action clamp or with a coil spring and adjusting screw to set the closing tension. Jaws are straight or curved with Cooley serrations.

Temporarily stops blood flow in a vessel, mainly in vascular, cardiac and neurovascular surgery.
