A trial humeral component: a straight flat stem with an anterior flange running beside it and a two-eyed hinge yoke at the end where the ulnar trial links with the provisional pin. It is marked 'NOT FOR IMPLANT' and with its size and stem length.

Primary uses

What this instrument is on the table to do.

The distal end of the size-matched Humeral Provisional can be slipped between the bony columns to check the humeral cut. For the trial reduction it is inserted with the ulnar provisional, articulated, linked with the pin provisional, taken through range of motion and removed.
