A single-ended flat elevator with an open loop handle. The long blade has a blunt, rounded tip and a cross-serrated face.
Primary uses
What this instrument is on the table to do.
Lifts and holds back soft tissue and muscle in shoulder surgery. In shoulder replacement it is also used to lever the head of the humerus out of the glenoid socket.
