GelPOINT V-Path Transvaginal Access Platform

A transvaginal access platform from Applied Medical. It attaches to the rim of an Alexis O-Retractor placed in the vagina, and three or four trocars fit through it.
Primary uses
What this instrument is on the table to do.
vNOTES hysterectomy. After colpotomy, the Alexis O-Retractor is placed with one end in the vesicovaginal space and the other in the pouch of Douglas. The platform is attached to its rim, trocars are placed through it, and the pelvis is insufflated with CO2 (8-10 mmHg in the cited series) for the scope and laparoscopic instruments.
