A flat-handled, double-ended ear curette with tapering ends and small spoon-shaped cups of different sizes, sharp or dull. About 6 1/4 to 7 in long.
Primary uses
What this instrument is on the table to do.
Removes bone from the ear canal and middle ear. In tympanoplasty, when bone hides the edge of the perforation, a microcurette or drill removes the overhang.
