Long benders made in right and left versions and used as a pair. Each grips a rod that is already in the screw heads.

Bending a rod after it is seated and held by set screws. The two benders are placed on the rod and pushed together to change the bend in place, for example to add lordosis. The scrub hands them as a pair.

Firebird: In-Situ Rod Bender Right 52-1070 and Left 52-1071; coronal benders 51-1475 / 51-1476 for complex coronal deformity. Teleflex: right/left pairs, 13 in (33 cm), for 3/16 in (4.76 mm) or 1/4 in (6.35 mm) rods.
