A fine, light mosquito hemostat with short jaws serrated full length and a delicate tip, straight or curved. About 5 in; long versions about 7 in.

Primary uses

Clamping small vessels. It is one of the basic plastic-surgery clamps and, as the 7 in Jacobson clamp, is used for small vessels during craniotomy. The open-heart tray carries a 5 in and a 7 in Jacobson mosquito.
