A long, slender microlaryngeal forceps with finger-ring (scissor-style) handles set at an angle to a thin shaft. The tip has tiny cup-shaped jaws with sharp edges that bite out tissue.
Primary uses

Takes biopsies and removes small lesions of the larynx and vocal cords through a rigid laryngoscope, usually under the microscope.

Working length about 25 to 27.5 cm (10 to 10-3/4 inches). Cups about 1 mm or 2 mm. Tips straight, curved right, curved left or curved up (some curved up and to one side). Many have a cleaning port on the shaft.
