Kyphon Cement Delivery System
Also called Kyphon CDS, Kyphon Cement Delivery Gun
A hand-squeezed cement delivery gun with a quick-release button, used with clear 8 cc cement cartridges and bone filler devices. Two cartridges can be filled at once with a T-adapter.
Primary uses
What this instrument is on the table to do.
Delivers bone cement into the vertebral body from up to 48 inches (4 feet) away from the radiation source while keeping a feel for the cement. Each full squeeze gives about 0.2 cc; the quick-release button stops flow at once.
