A flat tongue blade for the McIvor mouth gag. A notched bar on it slides and locks in the gag frame, and the outer end curves into a hook.

Fits on the McIvor mouth gag to hold the tongue down and keep the mouth open for tonsillectomy and other mouth and throat surgery. The hook end can be hung from a Mayo stand placed over the patient.
