A tip, one for each implant footprint and height, whose arms snap into the holding features on both endplates of the implant. One side is color coded, and two grooves show the implant's front edge on lateral fluoroscopy.

What this instrument is on the table to do.

Holds the prodisc C Vivo or prodisc C SK implant for insertion. The tip matching the chosen implant is snapped on while the implant is still in its package tray, color-coded side to the superior endplate, then connected to the introducer so the implant can be lifted out en bloc.
