Radial Feeler
A feeler with a barrel that slides over the radial IM guide rod. A laser line marks where the barrel touches the joint surface.
Primary uses
What this instrument is on the table to do.
Slid over the radial IM guide rod until it touches the radius; the radial resection guide mounts on it to set the level of the cut, usually at or just proximal to the laser line. Removed with the rod once the guide is pinned.
