Radial Resection Guide
A saw guide for the distal radius, made in three sizes and labeled Left/Right. It mounts on the radial feeler and has K-wire holes.
Primary uses
What this instrument is on the table to do.
Chosen to match the carpal plate trial size and mounted on the radial feeler with the Left or Right label facing distal. It is lined up with the dorsal radius and pinned with two or three 1.4 mm K-wires; the feeler and rod are removed and the guide slid against bone for the oscillating saw cut.
