A hand-held tonometer with a concave plunger at the bottom that rests on the cornea and a needle at the top that shows the reading. Small round weights slide into the center to push the plunger down. It comes with a set of weights in a sterilizing case.
Primary uses

Measures the pressure inside the eye by recording how the cornea resists the weight. It is on glaucoma procedure trays, such as for glaucoma drainage device implantation.

Weights of 5.5, 7.5 and 10 g; glaucoma trays add a 15 g weight.
