Long ring-handled forceps, straight or curved, with smooth round jaws that each split into two sharp, cupped prongs (2 x 2 teeth).

Grasps the anterior lip of the cervix for traction during vaginal procedures such as D&C and vaginal hysterectomy. The prongs bite into the firm cervical tissue for a secure hold.
