Triathlon 1/4" Peg Drill

Also called 1/4" Peg Drill

Official 1 photo

A short twist drill bit with a fluted cutting tip, a narrowed collar section in the middle and a hex drive end that fits the driver.

Primary uses

What this instrument is on the table to do.

Drills the holes for the Modular Femoral Distal Fixation Pegs. In a PS cemented knee the holes can be drilled through the PS Box Cutting Guide or later through the PS Femoral Trial; in a CR knee they are drilled after the femoral trial is assessed. Hand it on the Universal Driver after the femoral trial is checked or during PS box preparation.

Sizes & variants

The lengths, angles and patterns it comes in.

One per miscellaneous kit. Do not confuse it with the 1/8" Peg Drill (6541-4-518), which makes the 4:1 Cutting Block pin holes.
