Primary uses
What this instrument is on the table to do.
Placed in the Keel Punch Guide on the pinned Universal Tibial Template and impacted with a mallet until fully seated in the guide, to cut the keel slot for the tibial baseplate. It is removed by lifting and pulling the Keel Punch Guide handle, which levers it out of the tibia. Hand it with the mallet after the template is pinned and the guide is locked on.
