A short multihole wire guide that fits inside the short protection sleeve. The 3.2 mm guide wire passes through its holes.
Primary uses
What this instrument is on the table to do.
Opening the tibia. Handle, protection sleeve and wire guide are set over the entry point and the guide wire is driven 8-10 cm into bone. If the wire is off, the wire guide is rotated to place a second wire through another hole while the first stays in; then the first wire comes out. The wire guide is removed before the entry drill.
