What it means
In heart care, AR is aortic regurgitation, a leaky aortic valve that lets blood flow back into the left ventricle. In allergy care it is allergic rhinitis, a stuffy or runny nose and sneezing from allergies such as hay fever. Read it in context and ask if unsure.
