Micro-Instrument Wipe

Instrument Wipe · Micro Wipe · Merocel Instrument Wipe · Ivalon Instrument Wipe · Lint-Free Instrument Wipe

A small, flat, lint-free square of sponge, about 3 to 3.5 inches on a side, made of compressed PVA (Merocel, Ivalon) or cellulose. It comes sterile and softens when wet.

    Kept on the field during microsurgery, such as free flap and DIEP breast reconstruction, and ear surgery to wipe blood and tissue off the tips of fine micro instruments between uses without leaving lint.
