  3. A signature is not an approval

Your preceptor doesn't need an account or an app. Show them your sign-off code.

The steps

  1. Open your program page. Above Log a case you'll see Preceptor sign-off with a QR code.
  2. Your preceptor points their phone camera at it and taps the link that appears.
  3. They see your recent unsigned cases and sign the ones they supervised. Done.

It can be the same day or a few days later. Late signing is normal and allowed.

Keep your code to yourself

The code lets whoever scans it sign your cases. If you think someone else has it, tap Get a new code. The old one stops working immediately.

A signature is not an approval

The signature is your preceptor's confirmation that they supervised the case. Your instructor still reviews and approves it before it counts.
