What's on the NCLEX-PN exam
NCSBN publishes how much of the exam comes from each area in its test plan. Our adaptive exam keeps to the same shares, so it feels like the real one.
The NCLEX-PN isn’t written from a single book.
“NCSBN performs an analysis of those activities used frequently and identified as important by entry-level nurses to ensure client safety. This is called a practice analysis; it provides data to support the NCLEX as a reliable, valid measure of competent, entry-level licensed practical/vocational nurse (LPN/VN) practice.”NCSBN, 2026 NCLEX-PN Test Plan
