Today’s five
Question 1 of 5 · Physiological Adaptation

A 4-year-old child is brought to the emergency department 40 minutes after swallowing several of a grandparent's tablets. The child is alert with stable vital signs, and the team has called the poison control center. The parent asks, "Why isn't anyone pumping my child's stomach?" Which response by the nurse is best?

Press Practice. That's the whole setup.

No question count to pick, no modes, no settings. The NCLEX-RN practice test decides what to ask you next.

The NCLEX-RN isn’t written from a single book.

“NCSBN performs an analysis of those activities used frequently and identified as important by entry-level nurses to ensure client safety. This is called a practice analysis; it provides data to support the NCLEX as a reliable, valid measure of competent, entry-level nursing practice.”NCSBN, 2026 NCLEX-RN Test Plan
