The app sends one reminder a day, only when you have cards due. If you do and nothing arrives, here is every notification switch on iPhone and Android.

How do flashcards decide what to show me?

Grade each card Again, Hard, Good or Easy and it comes back right before you'd forget it. Why a card you know keeps returning, and why nothing due is good news.

Does the app work offline?

Studying works offline once a deck has been opened. Reviews save on the phone and sync when you're back online. Clocking in and logging cases need a connection.
